The Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC) focuses on training and evaluating the activities teams are likely to perform during a real-world penetration testing engagement.

At its heart, CPTC is a bit different from several other collegiate Cybersecurity competitions. Instead of defending your network, searching for flags, or claiming ownership of systems, CPTC focuses on mimicking the activities performed during a real-world penetration testing engagement conducted by companies, professional services firms, and internal security departments around the world.

Saturday, October 18, 2025 - COMPETITION DAY

8:00am - Doors open, Breakfast is served
9:00am - Opening Ceremonies
9:25am - Teams Sent to Rooms
9:30am - Engagement Starts
12:00pm - Lunch is served (Teams continue working)
5:30pm - Engagement Ends; Students to clean rooms
5:45pm - End of Day Debriefing with the OuiCroissant Team
6:00pm - Teams released to report

1:00am - Report Due

12:00pm - Doors open; Lunch Served
1:00pm - Q&A with Regional Teams
